Terms of use
These terms describe what Nucrix does and what stays with you. By signing up you accept them; if you do not agree, do not sign up.
What it is
Nucrix is software for automated trading on crypto exchanges: bots, backtests, notifications. It is not a broker and not an exchange.
The platform does not receive, hold or transfer your money: the funds stay on your account at the exchange. It gives no investment advice and promises no profit.
Access
A profile is created by an application or by an invitation. An administrator of the platform reviews the application; they may refuse it, and may also disable a profile, end its sessions, change its quotas and turn a user’s trading off: their bots then open no new deals.
Do not give your sign-in to other people: whatever is done from your profile is done by you.
Your keys and settings
- To trade, you connect the API key of your exchange account to the platform. The platform accepts only keys with the right to trade and without the right to withdraw funds; it refuses a key that can withdraw.
- You are responsible for your keys: you make them at the exchange, restrict them to the platform server’s address, and change or revoke them if they may have reached other hands.
- You are responsible for the bots’ settings: the pair, leverage, size, grid steps, take profit and stop loss. The platform shows the calculation and warnings, but the decision is yours.
- A bot does not start trading until you turn trading on yourself. On the main network it trades real money; an exchange’s test network is a practice account.
Risk
Trading on financial markets carries a risk of loss, up to losing the whole amount on the account, and with leveraged futures also of liquidation of the position. Past results and a backtest guarantee nothing: history does not repeat exactly, and a backtest does not account for everything that happens on an exchange.
The platform is built not to leave a position unprotected and to check its state against the exchange, but it does not guarantee that a stop fires at the set price, that an order is filled, or that the exchange and the network are available. Responsibility for trading decisions and their consequences lies with the user.
As is
The platform is provided “as is”. There may be errors, outages of the notifications and the platform itself, and failures and limits of the exchanges. You watch your positions and your exchange account yourself.
What not to do
- connect keys you are not entitled to dispose of;
- get around the platform’s limits: sign-in checks, quotas, the rights of roles;
- cause a load that hinders other users;
- try to reach anybody else’s data.
How to stop
You can disconnect an exchange account yourself: its bots stop, and the keys are wiped from the server (while a bot holds an open deal the keys stay: close it first).
To stop using the platform altogether, ask an administrator to disable your profile: signing in stops and the sessions end. An administrator may also do it on their own initiative.
Changes
A new edition of the terms is published on this page with a new date. If you go on using the platform after that, the new edition applies.
